A Lazy Afternoon

"Its Kyoko, and this is Mark-san." She said

I smile lightly and offer to shake Mark's hand.

"nice to meet you."

I say with a light smile.

"Nice to meet you." Jake said, shaking Zenaku's hand. Andy whinned. Mark looked down at him after he finished shaking hands. "Are you okay, Andy?"

Kyoko smirked. "Zen is a dog person if I remember correctly."

Mark thought about it. Andy was a bit calmer now that ZEnaku was around. But if that was true, what'd that make Kyoko? She riled Andy quite a bit.
"Well I guess that that makes you a cat person." He said lightly with a shrug.

Kyoko's smirk grew bigger, "Yes, I suppose you could call me that."

I smirk a bit and pet Andy while they talk.

"yea, Kyoko is the cat in our family."

I say to confirm his guess.

Kyoko elbowed him in the side, "Ah shut it, ya mutt."

Mark looked between the two, not getting the hidden joke.
"So..." Mark started, not knowing what to say next. Andy pulled at the leash impaitiently. Mark smiled at his dog. "Tired of all this talking, eh boy?" Mark asked the dog in english.

"any way Kyo how about i join you two."
I ask looking at Mark as he speaks in english.

"uh, what?"

I ask, not understanding his language.

"Oh, just talking to my dog." Mark explained, returning to his rough japanese.

"I don't see why not, since I'm paying." She turned to Mark, "Is it all right with you Mark-san? Its another opportunity to make a friend."

"I'm game." Mark shrugged.

"Cool" she said and started to walk.

"Sure, but i was going to pitch in. . . "

I say and follow them.

"so which resturat did you two pick?"

"The Jungle Book is the closest and it allows pets." She said turning right.

"And I'm trusting what she says because I have no idea where we're going."

"im surprise you arnt taking him to the neko resturant were you get to pet a kitten while you wait for your food."

I say with a smile, looking at the two.

"so what kinda food would you like to eat Marcus?"

"Mark." He corrected. "And I'll eat almost anything, as long as it's food." Mark shrugged.

"well i guess were going to the right place, to days special is food."

I say, smiling lightly, petting the dogs head an it always seems to be getting close to me.

(fyi animals from the same zodac attract those animals ex. kyo can attract cats, while i would attract dogs.)

Up ahead Kyoko tripped on a soda can and when she hit the ground three cats immediately sat on top of her. "Argghhh, get off! What is this, a manga?" she said getting up as the three cats twirl around her legs.

"well seems like wandering in the forrest paid off, you must gotten catnip on your clothes."

I say to cover up the odd scene.

"And what do you have? Dognip?" she said irritably pointing to two dogs that were following us. She shooed the cats away so they wouldnt be chased

"i live in a forest, so they probably smell nature, plus the fact i feed stray dogs."

I say and let the dogs follow, not really caring as it made me feel like the leader of a pack.

"but pay attention to your path, i dont want to get lost in a crowd of people."

"It is mentally impossible for me to get lost." she said simply. She muttered to him under her breath, "God I hate cities, how do normal people stand them? Crowds, pollution, trash everywhere. Not to mention all the noise!"
