A day in the forest

Mizuki stayed silent. She had nothing to add to the conversation.

Kyoko smiled sadly. "Yeah I suppose I wouldn't want to be friends with me either. Who wants to be friends with some cursed phyco after all?"

(WE AINT SUPPOSED TO BE FRIENDS WOMAN >:O)

"I didn't say anything. Its not smart to assume what someone else is thinking..."

(BUT I WANNA!! D: cant we be friends and then just..have lil spats here and there? ;_

Kiki sighed. "Who ever said I was smart? No one would ever praise the cat like that, after all, the cat will all ways be second best." She brightened up again. "But hey! Who cares? It makes it easier, not having any expectations for yourself."

(B-B-but we're supposed to despise eachother and your temper is supposed to make you want to kill me)

Again Mizuki stayed silent, focusing on the path ahead.

(but amaaaaaaa! We arn't supposed to be exactly like kyo and yukiiii! that would be copyright ;D)
Kyo randomly changed the subject, but to a weird topic. "Have you ever thought of suicide? Like...not doing it but have you ever THOUGHT about it?"

(We aren't... we're women and more sophistcated)

"Of course. You think about a lot of things in the room" The forest was begining to clear and you could make out the contours of the dojo.

Kyoko snapped her fingers. "There! A similarity! We have both been stuck in 'rooms'" her arm twitched slightly when she said room.

"The favorite and least favortie have always been stuck in rooms. As far asI can tell we have nothing more in common then the rats and cats before us." Mizuki retorted pushing a lower branch out of her way.

Kyoko ducked under the branch instead. "Hmmmm....were the other ones both crazy." she snapped her fingers again. "Wait thats not right, you were only 'close' to crazy.."

"I don't refer to myself as crazy or close to it." The trees were thinning out even more.

"Ahhh it seems we are finding only differences." she laughed. "I know I'm crazy, and I don't mind it. Besides I said 'were' didn't I?"

"I have never reffered my self as crazy or close to it, past or present." She said bluntly.

"Never said you did. Other people have though, not that its not any of MY business. Which is why Im going to shut up on this topic." she stretched. "Hey do you want a painting? I could make you one for free."

"I still live in the Main house, the head would most likely not allow it." It was surprising how little emotion her voice could show.

"Eh? But even the Head of the House asked for a few once..." she said remembering. "One was a group picture of the zodiac animals, no cat of course, the rat, and a birdcage.."

"Well the head is allowed to break their own rules." Mizuki said with a shrug.

"But if the head likes my paintings..and you are his favorite....why should he care if you want one?" She thought a moment. "Unless the Head wants us to go against each other."

"Who knows what goes throuh the Head's mind.." she said with a shrug

"True. I rather like the Head. He is nice if you say the right things and act polite." she smiled sadly again. "Im just glad I at least tried to make friends, even if you didnt give me much to go on."

"Well If that's all I have an appointemnt at the dojo." The two were now out of the forest and the Dojo was only a couple yards away.

"Mmmm...have fun with that." She turned around and started walking back into the forest. "I'm in a bad mood now so I think I'll skip that doctors appointment. Wonder if Zen is where I left him." she said, starting to talk to herself now. "I wonder if we take after the animals we're cursed by. I know Zen is pretty loyal, like a dog. I don't know if I'm like a cat..I suppose I do wander an awful lot. I don't know many zodiac people, and certainly not enough to see if they're like their animal..." she continued to talk to herself as she walked out of sight into the trees.
