A Lazy Afternoon
Kyo-chan wandered the streets with an empty expression on her face. She was careful not to bump into and guys but other than that her mind wandered.
Re: A Lazy Afternoon
Mark was walking down the street trying to understand the japanese in the manga he was reading. Ever since he had moved to japan- mangas were suddenly less enjoyable. His dog, Andy whinned as Mark avoided yet another person without looking up. Mark glanced over at his dog.
"Geeze, why can't everyone just speak one language- it'd make things so much easier...."

"Because its no fun that way.." She said in english passing him. She was looking up at the clouds as she was walking and was thinking on how boring it was that the clouds wern't moving.
Re: A Lazy Afternoon
Mark jumped at the unexpected answer.
"Uh...." Mark didn't know how to respond. He was going to return to trying to read the manga when his dog started barking at the girl who had passed.
"Hush, Andy! Uh.. wait up!"

"Uh.. sorry- he doesn't normally do this." Mark said, also making an attempt to appologize in his rough Japanese. Andy lowered his head, but stopped barking after Mark put a hand on the dog's back.

"Its ok, I'm used to dogs not liking me." She said mildly. "Are you new to Japan? You certainly don't look Japanese..."
Re: A Lazy Afternoon
"Oh, I'm American. I moved here recently..." Mark replied, straightening up again.

"That must be very exciting for you." she said moving out of the way to let a boy pass.
Re: A Lazy Afternoon
"That's one way to put it...." Mark said with a shrug. "Uh, I'm Mark." He said, holding out a hand. Then he hesitated. "Uh... do Japanese people shake hands?"

"Yeah I suppose. Bowing is more common." She said, shaking it. "My name is Kyoko-san, but you can call be kyo-chan."
Re: A Lazy Afternoon
"Eh.. I'm still learning....Nice to meet you." Andy sneezed. "And this troublesome mutt is Andy." Mark finished, ruffling the fur on his dog's head.

"Koinichiwa Andy-san, Mark-san, welcome to Japan." she says grandly and officially. "And to celebrate I shall buy you.." ,she checks her watch, "lunch. Seeing how its almost 12:30 already." This new boy was nice. She was surprised she was even talking to him, seeing how she usually locked herself up inside her house in the forest of the Sohma property.
Re: A Lazy Afternoon
"Ah.. you don't have to do that....." Was this a common thing in Japan? He had just met her.

Kyoko brightened immediately. "Good." she looked at his dog. "I suppose I can find a place that allows pets to.."
Re: A Lazy Afternoon

Kyoko closed her eyes and started going through the databank that was her brain. "The pet friendly restaurants within walking distance are Pet Palace, Dog Gone Crazy, The Pit Stop, Mr Whiskers Cafe, and The Jungle Book." She opened her eyes.
Re: A Lazy Afternoon
"Uh... okay, anyone's fine." Mark said, impressed at her memory.

Re: A Lazy Afternoon
Kyoko thought for a moment. "Hmm....the closest one is 62.4 yards away at the next right. I suppose we can go to that on.."
Re: A Lazy Afternoon
I begin to walk down the streets looking for a resturant to eat, tired of going grocery shopping. people stared a bit as I avoid crowds and people like the plauge. after wanfering a bit and being lost, i go up to a random person, just so happens to be kyo and mark and ask for directions.
"uh, were is a good resturant to eat?"
I ask, not really paying attention to who i am talking to.

Now that kind of memory wasn't normal. Andy growled. The dog stopped though when a man randomly walked up to them. Andy cocked his head in confusion.
"Uh... I don't know, I'm new here." Mark replied.

"We just happened to be going to a restaurant now." she turned to Mark. "If you're weirded out by the whole precise memory thing, its because I have photographic memory..." She turned back to Zen. "Speaking of which, you're a Sohma arn't you."
Re: A Lazy Afternoon
I smirk a bit and look at the two.
"yea, Zenaku. your kyoto right? and who's this fellow with you?"
I say and look at the guy, sure that he isnt a sohma.
